Boise Blues Society display will include two of the first electric guitars manufactured for public sale in the 1930s

A historic electric guitar exhibit has been added to The Blues Addicts Live at the Linen concert on Saturday, Jan. 23. The concert starts at 8 p.m. at the Linen Building, 1402 W. Grove St. in Downtown Boise's Linen District. $3 for Boise Blues Society members with I.D. and $5 for member guests and the general public. Advance tickets available at the Linen Building. All ages, full bar.

The Boise Blues Society exhibit, located on the first-floor mezzanine, will feature a variety of vintage instruments, including incredibly rare Rickenbacker Electro "Frying Pan" and Electro Spanish electric guitars that were among the first electric guitars manufactured in the 1930s for public sale.
